Harford County Inclement Weather Policy (Oakington District*)

if schools are closed for the day due to inclement weather, so are all recreation programs.
If schools open one or two hours late, programs scheduled for that time of day will begin with the same starting time as elementary schools for that day.
- For example, if schools are 2 hours late, 9:00AM programs would start at 11:00AM.
- Any programs scheduled before that time would be cancelled.
- Afternoon or evening programs would not be effected.
If schools close early due to inclement weather, all programs/classes from that moment on will be cancelled for the rest of the day.

Recreation classes/programs will be cancelled when the Snow Emergency Plan is in effect.

Listen to WAMD (97 AM) or WXCY (103.7 FM) radio for any announcements regarding program cancellations.

* The Oakington District (of Harford County Dept. of Parks & Recreation) serves the Aberdeen Recreation Council in addition to Swan Harbor Farm
