SwanFest (October 12, 2008)
Swanfest will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
at Swan Harbor Farm, 401 Oakington Road, Havre de Grace, MD.Map (click here).
As one of the most beautiful settings in all of Harford County, the farm provides the backdrop
October 12 for the tenth annual Swanfest sponsored by the Harford County Parks and Recreation Department.
This family-fun event features handcrafted goods, food, games, live entertainment, children’s activities,
a pumpkin giveaway for kids, hay rides and mansion tours. The admission price for all of
this is just $5 per vehicle.
Nearly 50 vendors covering the following categories have reserved Swanfest space: jewelry, photography
and art, florals, candles, purses, scrapbooks, doll clothes, ceramics, crystals, baskets, rugs, metals,
embroidered pieces, slate and garden, seashell crafts, gift baskets, honey, beeswax candles, soaps,
creams, milk soap and other crafts.
The Swanfest menu includes pit beef, pit ham, pit turkey, Italian sausage, barbecue pork, hamburgers,
chicken, ribs, pizza, funnel cakes, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, smoothies, apple cider, caramel
apples, lemonade, bottled water and soft drinks.
