Money process and how the enclosed forms are used.
Program Info Worksheet:
Identifies all program officers and who is authorized to submit purchases requests, publicity
requests, work fund raisers, and handle money (to be covered by name in our commercial crime
policy). The Treasurer will return Check Requests without action if a current Info Worksheet is
not on file for the requesting program.
FY 2010 City Money Request:
Form program leaders can complete to submit line items and justification of requests for City
Money consideration. This would be for our next fiscal year (FY), which runs July 1, 2010 to
June 30, 2011. Forms must be returned by March 1, 2010 for consideration. Requests
received after the Board completes its scrub cannot be considered.
Each program's webpage: Program leaders can markup a copy of their current
webpage to identify any changes or updates.
Requests for Surplus FY 2009 funds (if any): Program leaders can identify
requirements to compete for any surplus funds from the current fiscal year (ending June 30, 2010).
Requests must be submitted in writing and also returned by March 1, 2010.
The Aberdeen Board holds a "scrub" to review all City Money requests and compose a budget by
line-item for submission to the Aberdeen City Council. In event programs have unspent
allocations for the current fiscal year, these funds will be re-allocated by the Board in the
May time-frame each year.
